Vintage Ceramic Nativity Set Christmas Avenue-11 pc-Box-Hand Painted-Holy-Wise

Charming 11-piece Christmas Avenue nativity set with softly hand-painted, bisque-style ceramic figures: Holy Family, three Wise Men, shepherd with ox, camel, and two lambs. Tallest figure approx. 5.25" x 2.25" x 1.5". Nativity scenes date to St. Francis of Assisi’s first crèche in 1223; by the late 20th century retailers offered boxed ceramic sets like this for easy holiday display. Christmas Avenue was a popular import line sold in big-box and department stores c. 1990s, typically made in China (box/markings consistent with that era). Includes the original box for storage or gifting. Condition: overall clean; light paint rubs/age toning from display; one Wise Man has a head repair (stable); box shows shelf wear. See Photos.
