Vintage haori (short style) kimono jacket in black silk has gorgeous landscapes of little houses set in groves of trees, done in metallic block paint - dreamy, life-like colours of greens, oranges, browns and white. Ivory silk jacquard quarter lining has tonal leaf pattern. This has no himo ties, but anything really can be used, and they are not necessary to wear as a jacket. These make wonderful jackets just worn open, which also gives them flexibility in size. Size: One size - please see graphic for how we measure kimono. Condition: Very good, with only a little age darkening to the lining. This is probably about 40 years old, but that's a guess from previous owner. Care: These were cleaned and then stored in Japan, but should be dry cleaned when it comes time. My kimono are anywhere from 30 to about 100 years old and are from Japan.
