Vintage Bill Blass Sheer Cross X Square Intricate Multi Patterned Scarf in Black & Gold When I look at this scarf one word comes to mind. Royalty. Details: Bill Blass large, highly detailed scarf Vintage Square, 33” x 33” Central cross or x design Multi-pattern - floral, geometric, paisleys, & abstract Overlayed with floral patches Color - black base & frame with gold, maroon, plum, blue, green & white detailings Sheer Hand rolled & hand sewn Silk blend (based on research & feel. I cannot be 100% because there is no material tag) This scarf is in great, vintage condition. It does show signs of wear. Any noted signs of wear can be seen in listing photos! There are no designer, ID, material or care tags. Identified with Bill Blass signature. There is random fraying throughout. The edges, near a corner, has come undone/unrolled & shows damage. It’s 4.5” of undone/missing thread. There are 2 pulls above this unrolled area. One is 3”, the other is 9.5” long. There are a couple other pulls as well. But this is the main area of wear/damage. No other noted signs of wear, holes, stains or smells. While l've done my best to carefully inspect and identify any flaws, there might be some minor imperfections that I may have missed.
