Vintage Ancient Egyptian Heart of Scarab Black & Gold Beaded Pendant Necklace PALM BEACH ESTATE SALE FIND DESCRIPTION: THIS IS AN ANTIQUE ANCIENT EGYPTIAN CARVED BEETLE SCARAB PENDANT NECKLACE . NECKLACE HAS A LARGE CARVED ANCIENT BEETLE SCARAB WITH HIEROGLYPHS ON THE BACK, SEE PHOTOS. Pendant measures 2 inches long and 1 5/16 wide Beaded necklace measures 24 inches Black beads are heavy, not plastic, my guess is they are glass. There are gold bead accents and 2 cylinder shaped that look like bamboo or wood but feel like a carved heavier (maybe also glass) material.
