Vintage 70’s Evan Picone Burgundy and Blue Striped Crewneck Sweater

Vintage 1970’s-1980’s Evan-Picone retro sweater.Traces back to Levi Strauss & Co. So this garment was produced under the Levi’s umbrella, possibly a specialty or secondary line (sometimes used on Levi’s printed tees, shorts, or private-label collaborations from the late ’90s through the 2000s). Rescued relic from the late 70s — 100% shetland wool made in british hong kong. Deep maroon w/ ghosty blue + grey stripes. One hole hand-stitched by the previous owner, a few more left raw for the real ones. soft, broken-in, smells of old books and a night at a poetry slam. Size M— perfectly slouchy.
