The shift to party dresses proved dramatically different in the 80s and said party dresses aren’t as popular. We all know this. But HOT DAMN is this example fire af!!! 🔥🥵 Live out your Barbie dreams is this fabulous dress that’s sure to wow any crowd! 🤩 Label: Gunne Sax by Jessica McClintock ESTIMATED SIZE: XS/S (Extra Small / Small) - Smaller-than-standard bust measurement like we often see with Gunne Sax dresses. - Vintage size 5. MEASUREMENTS: Bust: 32” Waist: 26” Hips: 36.5” Pit to hem: 41” CONDITION NOTES: - This had some notable stains in the front at the bottom edge of the bodice, and I stupidly attempted to remove them knowing damn well how risky messing with acetate is. I played with fire — pun intended — and paid for it. The ruching/coffin pleating lost some puff, but this dress is still incredible and wearable nonetheless. And although I didn’t remove the stains completely (they are lighter at least), you can hide them by tying the bow in front. How tf did I not think of this before my stain removal attempt? Great question! I’d love to know too. 🤦🏻‍♀️ - Super slight underarm discoloration. - Some holes easily missed by the dress’s ruching and other details.
