Miss I is a "letter girl", one of the 5 women characters representing the vowels. Her sound is the same sound that starts Itchy Itch & Incredible Inventor. The first iteration of her character, Itchy Itch, was used in the classroom programs until 1974 , including the TV show. Her trait was changed to a more positive/pleasant one of "incredible inventor" starting in the 1974 revision of Alpha Time. Despite a clear patch, this piece retains its vintage charm and makes for a fun, nostalgic addition to any collection or as a quirky accent in a retro-themed room.
