Vintage 1960's Chinese Opera Dolls Male Female Elaborate Costumes Handmade Wooden Stand These dolls are in excellent condition. Just beautiful collector pieces. Truly this pair are an unbelievable work of art. Hand painted faces. The female and male are adorned in a stunning costumes with tremendous detail. The female is holding a beautiful "tinsel" lantern and is wrapped around in the colorful and brilliant "tinsel". Her facial features are soft and so expressive. The male is equally as exquisite. His costume is amazing with so much handmade details to describe. The both stand on a black piece of wood with silver paint strokes 3 1/4" x 2". The base is stamped in white but very difficult to decipher. We are the original owners from our extensive doll collection. Please see the photos to complete the description.
