Vintage 1960’s Black Velvet Gown by Mike Bennet

Stunning inky black velvet vintage gown by designer, Mike Benet 🖤. 1960’s true vintage. Strapless with built in bustier, plastic boning from waist to top for added bodice structure and support. Bust has two layers of material. Inner layer is hard-ruched satin so the fabric juts out away from the bust. Outer layer is velvet and leaves space in between the satin and velvet for dimension and depth. Great bold design. Enhances the bust line. Tiered folded satin adorns the waist all the way around with a wrap look. Silhouette is straight and extends down to the ankles with a 12 inch slit up the middle. Long zip closure at the back with bra-like clasp. Gorgeous, bold and in pristine condition. Size tag: 10 (vintage) XS or XXS. Vintage numeric sizes run smaller than modern sizes. Measurements taken lying flat. Please compare to something you already own for more accurate sizing.
