Vintage 1950s PF Flyers BF Goodrich Made in USA Canvas Gym Sneakers Mens Size 12. Extremely RARE pair of original production PF Flyers in this size rarely seen online, big flaw is the rubber is severely cracking as seen in photos, coming off of toe cap and foxing in places. Other than that, inside sole is intact with no chips or depressions and rest of shoe is actually very flexible like normal, rare wedge insoles branded to PF Flyers classic insole is also surprisingly comfortable which is pretty near. Bottom soles with excellent tread, and regular fade dirt wear from over the decades appears normal. These are a produciton during which the BF Goodrich company was producing the PF Flyers line for the first time. Listing says 1950s but possible these are very early 60s as well. As with all vintage pairs I sell I try to give a wearability rating. Given the cracking nature of the toe cap and rubber these would be advised not to wear, however given the rubber on rest of shoe and insole and soles itself are very bendable it actually can be worn! Really comes down to a question of do you want to enjoy them and just let them crack away to dust, or store for collector purposes. I've worn these out around town and despite the cracking they don't make any odd noises and feel completely fine - as mentioned before the classic "Wedge Insole" design that PF Flyers produced for decades is actually pretty comfortable with support.
