Vintage 1940s Black Taffeta Slip Skirt Floral Embroidered Scalloped Hem

This fabulous stand out Taffeta slip skirt is black but has interesting undertones of a peach colour peeking through giving it a duel or two toned appearance. The lower part is beautifully embroidered with dripping grape-like flowered clusters. The upper is embroidered with occasional spot detail. It is finished with a scalloped embroidery accentuating the scalloped hem. The waist line is a good thick elastic inserted into a finished gathered edge. An amazing slip from the fourties. This slip is in near perfect condition. Measurements: Waist: 26", stretches up to 37" Hip: 46" Length: 21.5" All measurements are take while the garment is laying flat.
