Vintage 1940s 13 Inch All Composition Sleep Eye Girl Doll

Charming all composition doll dating to around the early 1940s. She stands approximately 13 inches tall. She features jointed limbs, sleep eyes that open and close, painted upper lashes and brows and pink painted lips. Her soft blonde mohair wig is styled in curls, typical of the pre-war and wartime period. She wears a pale green cotton dress with white lace trim and ribbon bow, along with lace edged bloomers. The back of her torso is faintly marked “13” indicating her size rather than a maker’s mark. Condition shows age appropriate wear with surface scuffs, light soil and mild crazing typical of vintage composition.
