Vintage 1930-40s Cream Bias Cut Silk/Lace Slip-Dress Bound Scalloped Hem

This alluring ivory colour hand stitched silk slip-dress features delicate shoulder straps above a shaped lace cut upper bodice with pin tucked darts. Connecting the silk skirt is an inverted V-shaped band made of silk charmeuse that adds shape and style as it swoops around the back beautifully accentuating the backside. There is a central embroidered monogrammed reserve "gladys" at the bust line. The straps are .25" wide self straps are non-adjustable. The hemline is scalloped with a bound edge. The inside seams are french and whipstich to prevent freying. This embodies quality with femininity in finely crafted French Seams and high quality fabric. Made by Regine’ Brenner.
