Fantastic authentic vintage union-made 100% wool tweed hat featuring a rich multicolor plaid and beautifully structured fedora-style silhouette. The substantial wool tweed features an earthy autumn palette of brown, olive green, mustard, rust and muted red, with a classic woven plaid pattern throughout. A coordinating tweed band wraps around the crown and finishes with a wonderful tailored bow detail at the side. The interior is just as distinctive, featuring a colorful vintage printed lining decorated with illustrations of hats. Original labels remain present, including the United Hatters, Cap & Millinery Workers International Union – Union Made label and original 7 1/8 size tag. The United Hatters, Cap & Millinery Workers International Union operated from 1934–1983, helping establish this as a genuine vintage piece.
