Vince smock waist gathered skirt (large, dark blue waltz) - has flaws

This elegant midi skirt first grabbed my eye at Neiman Marcus, where it became the first Vince piece I ever bought. Later, I felt fantastic wearing it out on Christmas Day in New York with a black cashmere sweater (also listed in my closet). Here's the official description from Vince: "Featherweight fabric cascades from the waist for ethereal movement in our pull-on smocked waist skirt, best viewed when floating across a room." This lighter-than-air skirt has a lining with side vents. It's overlayed with a translucent/sheer layer. I am 5'8", and the skirt hits me mid-calf. IMPORTANT: This skirt has two small marks on the front, which you can see in the sixth, seventh, and eighth photos. On the upside, I feel confident saying that you won't notice these marks unless you are actively looking for them. That's because when you back up a few inches from the skirt, they fade away, blending in with all the little shadows cast by the dappled texture of the overlay. For example, the ninth photo shows that same area from a bit more distance. Vince calls the color "dark blue waltz." I would call it blue-green. I think this color is beautiful for the holidays. However, you could also pair the skirt with sandals and wear it in the summer, as shown on the first model. The last few photos show measurements.
