One has 2 very small pin holes located in the upper back, the other has a small tear on the bottom of the gown at the ruffled section. Depending on your use for this garment that may not be an issue. These look so pretty when adorned with additional embroidery etc. addtionally, these are 2 spots that are still easy to repair and have a 100% Cotton bodied gown. they just don't make them like they did back then when we used to repair instead of replace anyway. The color is bright white, I see no stains or other damage. a beautiful victorian style "granny" gown from the 80's/90's
