Excellent vintage condition, no writing inside or missing pages; does show discoloration from age but that is to be expected with vintage books. Beloved series of books about Laura Ingalls and her family living on the American frontier as pioneers. With illustrations by the amazing Garth Williams. As an adult, Laura saw the changes that came with the railroad and other industrialization and knew that frontier life was ending...lucky for us she decided to document it, writing these stories that included fictionalized accounts of her actual life and factual accounts of things like building a cabin and smoking salt pork that can still be followed today with the same results.
