VTG David Stewart Cat Planter 60s Lion's Valley Pottery Stoneware MCM 1960s Tan

Fabulous cat-shaped stoneware planter from David Stewart Lion's Valley Pottery, San Diego, California. This cat planter is a perfect example of Mid Century Modern design, with a smooth glazed body and an organic face, ears and feet detail. It has a light gray, speckled glaze with a brown "sandy" face, ear tips and bottom. Approximately 9"L x 6.5"W x 6"h, the “hole” is approximately 4” x 3.25”. There is a small drainage hole in the bottom. This cat planter is in very good condition with the exception of one small chip in the glaze on the back (See pics)
