VINTAGE SILK VICTORIAN STYLE WEDDING GOWN

A one-of-a-kind Vintage Silk Victorian Style Wedding Gown, custom made in a small boutique in Capitola CA. I wore this at my 1984 Kauai wedding, actually 2 weddings, one in the early morning hours atop Mt. Waialeale, the wettest spot on earth, and the other at Kauai Surf garden in the afternoon. We flew up by helicopter to the top of Mt. Waialeale and may be the only people on earth to ever be married there. The dress is pure 100% silk. It was originally white, but has turned a natural golden hue over the years. There are no holes in it, but there are a few small stains which I've included in the photos. One small stain is about 7" down from the waist (but can be hidden by the folds), the other two are on the back, the small ink stain is 9" from the bottom hem and another close to the hem, and the small dirt stain is 8" from the bottom hem. The lace is not silk, and is see-through on the two front vertical pieces in the bodice. The peach colored flowers on the bodice are handmade from ribbon and have a small beaded crystal hanging from them. The neckline and sleeves can be adjusted with the ribbon. All of the inside seams are finished. I had it designed so that the back hem just barely touches the ground, and the front hem is above the ankles. Measurements: Bust - max 31" Waist - max 32" Length - front 44", back 52" Belt- 28" (you can get creative and replace with a peach colored belt)
