This item was purchased at an antique store. It was once used to hold cigarettes on one side and, I think, powder in the other. This item is definitely worn. There are two chips on the front, which is completely made of pearl, and the back / inside have a few scratches or discolorations. I will also note that the makeup container still has traces of makeup in it. I am scared to clean this piece because I do not want to mess it up!
