josephine619 @jamicam no zipper or buttons, but there are two fairly deep pockets on each side. It's very light and allows room for layering, it would be thin enough to wear alone in spring/fall around 60-65 degree temps, but in winter I'd recommend a long sleeve shirt and/or pants/leggings underneath. I'm in California so the only time I wouldn't want to wear it is during the hottest point of our summer.

josephine619 It's pretty warm, sorry I've been MIA, lots of holiday shopping and lots of work. I live in california, it's perfect for chilly night time weather here. If I was in new york I would want to bundle much more. It feels exactly like a fur throw blanket, it's not water resistant, but it traps the heat pretty well. I'll add some photos this afternoon.
