This vintage glass finger bowl is the King's Crown pattern, featuring a cranberry flashed top and bottom on clear glass. The term flashed refers to a thin layer of colored glass over a colorless base. A technique used to create the look of more expensive cranberry glass at a lower cost. This pattern was produced by Tiffin Franciscan. And similar pieces were also made by Indiana Glass and Colony Glass. The bowls were typically produced from the 1943 to 1965. On the clear base section are oval recessed patterns which are the thumbprints. This piece measures 4 inches wide by 2.25 inches high. In order to preserve the Ruby flashing on this vintage piece, hand washing is recommended. In very nice vintage condition. Non smoking pet free home.
