jodisjewelry Hi ladies, we’ve decided to implement a new policy to help organize vacay and time off. It is getting too much to juggle with vacay requests scattered thru the listings with all the sign outs and comments, esp like today with Erica, she requested time off 2-3 wks ago, but I don’t think to go back that far and check. We think having the members notify you, their GL, and then you commenting here, or even if they comment here, it will be much easier for my adhd brain to keep things straight!!

I meant to message you last Sunday, but I was in the hospital getting a 3rd blood patch. I will not be able to share for this week. Please put me on vacation until further notice for our group. elizabethcheree @jodisjewelry I have a spinal fluid leak. I had a Myelogram and it caused it on Oct. 16th. I have had 3 blood patches to try and correct it. I had an MRI yesterday and they good news is that I don’t have a tear, so I won’t need surgery. However, I’m still experiencing a lot of side effects from the leak. They said it will eventually get better, but it will take time. I’m on extended leave from teaching now and on disability. Thank you for your support!

elizabethcheree @jodisjewelry Thank you! I’ve been having issues for almost 17 years, since around 23. I finally had surgery last year and they are still figuring out what’s going on with my left arm. The good news is that it doesn’t look related to my neck. I’m being referred to a vascular specialist and we are getting closer to figuring that out. I had the CT Myelogram to rule out it wasn’t still my neck, that cause a spinal fluI’m starting to finally feel better after 6.5 weeks! Have a happy Thanksgiving!

I work in entertainment, not nearly as demanding and important as your job but with Covid and all these guidelines and people working in close proximity we are testing employees 2-3 times a week and if we get positives it’s becomes a madhouse....times are so different!!!

I totally understand, I care for both elderly parents plus 89 yr old mom in law n have health issues n now moms entire upper floor flooded n its been a nightmare, we had emerg water shutoff 2/23, restoration company started 2/26, ins adjuster didn’t come til 3/9! Wood floors still aren’t completely dry n when he was there, he said there is some buckling of the wood, but it’s not that bad! WHAT?!? Oh heck naw!

Then mom has replacement value so her policy is kinda expensive.

jodisjewelry @girlcavecentral mom’s been wanting to pull up carpet n restore the wood floors. Not even knowing the full damage, he said the carpet was worth 6k, less 3700 depreciation, less depreciation, she gets nothing. I said oh boy,,we’re gonna be going round and around.

jodisjewelry @girlcavecentral I meant less deductible. Then I spoke with the agent n she said well, you’ll get the depreciation refunded once you do the work. I said no, they haven’t even given an estimate on replacing the wood floor n even tho there was carpet, the wood floor under it was part of the house and it’s covered also. I guess they have so much damage from this, they’re trying to pay as little as possible and that’s not gonna fly with me.

girlcavecentral @jodisjewelry OMG! what the heck what a nightmare we had something like that happen a few years back when we had a bad storm pass through and our basement flooded with 6ft. of water and flood insurance and they didn't want pay it we lost our furnace, washer, dryer, chest freezer full of food storage items that were on shelves, couch, chairs, table it was a mess w tried everything to save it pumping the water out but it the water just it was raining to hard for us to keep with

weimaranermom @justpeep I'm home now and having a really hard time. My pup passed at the boarding facility where she has stayed many times before. Not sure what happened completely, but I'm really grieving. Anyhow, I'll be ready to share again this next go-round. Put me back in. Thanks!

paicar @weimaranermom Hi Bev! I’m so glad you’re getting a new pup🐶🐶 We lost our 11 year old Bichon Shihtzu suddenly last June to an aggressive cancer. I literally cried for a full month and was beside myself. In August we added 2 Cavachon pups to the family and although they will never replace Maddi, they certainly keep us busy and helped me move on.

weimaranermom @paicar My pup's loss was also very sudden, in October. I've been watching these grow, and will be so happy to get them. Of course a new dog doesn't replace the old one, but even though I still grieve for Luna, Hansel & Gretel will make life happy again. My vacay request didn't make it into Group 8, so I need you to know that I won't be sharing 2/10-2/13. I'll be on the road with 2 wiggly puppies!!! ❤️
