TIFFANY & CO. 1970 Squared Brooch In 18Kt 5.60 Ctw In Sapphires

Squared modernist brooch designed by Tiffany Co. This is a great statement brooch with great eye appeal, created with modernist geometric patterns by the jewelry house of Tiffany Co. back in the 1970. The brooch can be also wear as a pendant and have been crafted with dotted and twisted elements  in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. The brooch is embellished with a suite of fifty-six earth mined natural blue sapphires and is fitted at the reverse with a concealed hinged horizontal bar with a mechanical lock. Sapphires: Mounted in four-prongs settings, with 56 calibrated round faceted cuts of natural blue sapphires with about 5.60 carats. Birthstone: Sapphires for the month of September. Weight: 38.3 Grams, (24.60 Dwt).  Measurements: 45 mm by 45 mm (1.77 x 1.77 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed as follow: "TIFFANY CO. K18". Collateral: This brooch is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box. Condition: The overall condition of this Tiffany Co. brooch is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The 56 sapphires are secured in their settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
