This vintage vinyl LP from 1979 has been • CLEANED & PLAY-GRADED 👍 VG+/VG 'Get the Knack' is the debut studio album by American power pop band The Knack, released in June 1979. The album was one of the most successful debuts in history (up to that point), achieving "Gold" status in less than two months and spending five weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The lead single from the album, 'My Sharona', was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks and #1 on Billboard's Top Pop Singles of the 1979 year-end chart. The follow-up single, 'Good Girls Don't', reached #11 on the Hot 100 and followed 'My Sharona' to the #1 spot on the Canadian Singles Chart. In Billboard magazine's year-end charts, 'Get the Knack' ranked at #16 for 1979 and #72 for 1980. It would ultimately achieve double Platinum status by the RIAA in the US.
