Swarovski SAL Rhinestone Dentelle Faceted Faux Amethyst Earrings

Swarovski America Limited used the S.A. L. stamp from circa 1977-1988 allowing dating the earrings presented within that timeframe. Heavily plated in gold tone the clip earrings are centered with dentelle faceted chatons in deep purple. Golden roped frames encircle followed by clear chaton rhinestones and an additional circle of golden roping. Reverses are fitted with long paddled clips. The earrings measure approximately 1 1/8 inches across with a 1/2 inch profile or height. Simulated amethyst stones are about 15 millimeters; clear chatons, 2 millimeters. Weight of the earrings pair is 36.1 grams. Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All stones free of chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. Purple stones retain color and sparkle; "white" rhinestones, uniform clear brilliance. No dents or improper bends to metal components. Gold tone plating intact, fronts and backs. Earring clips secure. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
