This barrel is machined from 416R stainless steel for superior strength, durability, and acccuracy. This barrel is hardened to 40-42 HRC and rifled to shoot jacketed or lead bullets. This match grade barrel is chambered for full case support. All StormLake Smith & Wesson M&P pistol barrels are drop in and will only occasionally require minor modification to fit. This barrel will fit the Smith and Wesson M&P in .45 ACP and is extended and threaded to support a suppressor. The barrel also comes with a thread protector.
