I have 2 satin overbust steel-boned corsets sized US2 (23-24” natural waist). These are quality corsets and will cinch your waist down to 20”. The black one has black ribbon lacing, champagne has white shoe string lacing. I discarded packaging for the champagne one when I tried it on, but the difficulty of the busk isn’t worth it. Tags still attached, my loss is your gain. $100 each or $180 for both

What is wrong with the busk on the beige one?
Jul 22Reply

attindicator
@teacuphuman nothing, I only hooked one to snap a quick photo. It looks just like the worn photos

@pancitstyle I’m the same size, it would fit but depending on how much waist cinching the back panel may not be able to hide skin. Typically a first corset would be laced a little looser until broken in and some getting-used-to

@attindicator in your description you stated that you were selling it due to " but the difficulty of the busk isn’t worth it. " I was inquiring as to what made it so difficult.

@teacuphuman this is my first steel boned corset so forgive me if this sounds stupid. The front is just very stiff (steel), you’d need to loosen the lacing all the way just to hook it on, and then make sure the modesty panel lays flat as you cinch it up. I’m pretty sure this will no longer be an issue after break-in but it’s not worth it to me since I bought them in basic colors to wear under clothes and they aren’t seamless enough for the pieces I have in mind.

@attindicator ahhhhh ok no worries! I was just curious if there was an issue with it or something that would need to be repaired. Thank you!
