Sparkling Vintage Rare Swarovski "S.A.L." Original Rhinestone Earrings

These sensational vintage Swarovski S.A.L. earrings are nothing but bling, bling, and more bling! This original production of Swarovski jewelry is very uncommon. Short for Swarovski America, Ltd., S.A.L. was the first name under which the famed Austrian crystal company began manufacturing their own jewelry. The "S.A.L" mark was used from 1977 to 1988, but proved to be unrecognizable to consumers; it was replaced with the trademark swan hallmark that continues to represent Swarovski jewelry today. As you can see, these fantastic clip-on earrings are characterized by triangular shapes with voluptuous rounded edges. Dozens of sparkling colorless rhinestones are pavé set on the face of the earrings, and border a breathtaking fuchsia Lucite cabochon at the center. The central cabochons have a wonderful degree of translucence with an absolutely vibrant, pervasive color. These and the outermost edge of the earrings are framed with shimmering gold-tone metal. Classic hinge-clips will make the earrings incredibly comfortable to wear. This is where you will an impressed maker's mark which reads "S.A.L."
