chriskrefashion @deannak87 Hi this is silver plated. All silver and silver plating tarnishes but you can polish it. As for turning your fingers green, some people will have that issue with costume jewelry because of their body chemistry. If you have that issue then I would not purchase this ring and look for a sterling silver instead. I do have similar rings in sterling silver in my closet. They are a little more money but worth it if you want to be sure about it. Hope that helps.
