Signed Deruta Sale & Peppe (Salt & Pepper) Shakers & Stand Hand Painted Italian - I purchased these salt & pepper shakers in the City of Deruta in the Umbria Region of Italy. The Umbria Region boarders the Tuscany Region in the hill country. Deruta has been the center of Italian Majolica since the 12th century and has many ceramic workshops where the art has been passed down for generations. The salt & pepper shakers in their stand measure approximately 5” tall by 6” wide. These fabulous salt and pepper shakers feature a cobalt blue and white background with cheery yellow lemons. These salt and pepper shakers are in very good condition. See photos for more details.
