Green Fuchsite Electroformed Copper Pendant This handmade, one-of-a-kind, necklace is made out of shimmery raw fuchsite. The fuchsite stone is bezeled in electroformed copper, which gives a unique and organic texture to the copper bezel of the necklace. The necklace is hung on a 34-inch black cord. This necklace is reversible as shown in the photos, meaning the fuchsite shows on both sides of the pendant. This necklace makes a nice worry stone as the smooth buttery feel of the raw fuchsite is very soothing. The fuchsite in this stone is from Brazil. Fuchsite is a variety of Muscovite, which is a form of Mica. It differs from most other muscovite by having a variable amount of trivalent chromium substituting for aluminum within the mineral. Its color is due to the presence of chromium in it, as it is the green form of Muscovite Mica. Muscovite begins to take on a very light green color with the substitution of a small amount of chromium for aluminum.
