Cheongsam 1940’s-1970's Qipao Dress This dress literally shimmers in the light. A handmade item made somewhere between 1940s and the 1970’s, dating based on the zipper and the snaps look late 40’s- but the lining condition suggests 60’s-70’s This is a rare dress that is fully lined in red satin silk. The exterior fabric is a semi sheer embroidered lamé which as I said practically glows Metal zipper down the side. Frog closures, snaps on the bodice. Size: Womens Small Shoulder to shoulder- 15” Bust- 34” Waist- 26-27.5” Hips- 32” Sleeve Length- 19.5” Armpit circumference- 16” Slit- 10.5” Shoulder to Hem- 40” Hem to Waist- 26” Flaw- single thread pull in the front(most likely if it’s correctly steamed at the dry cleaner the thread pool will disappear but I can’t guarantee that . One of the antique snaps no longer snaps together. Both pieces are present they just don’t snap, this is the snap directly above the zipper ******* Items sold are finds sourced from estate sales and thrift stores in Southern California. As they are previously owned items plan to have the items taken to your local dry cleaner before wearing. Will be wrinkled from storage.
