Set of 2 Bookends like Girl from Alice in Wonderland Book Ends Bronze Look CUTE

You’re getting this awesome set of 2 bookends featuring a little girl wearing a dress resting in a curtsy position against an oversized copy of Shakespeare’s Dramatiska Arbeten which I believe are the works of William Shakespeare as translated into Swedish. The cool thing about these bookends is the girl resembles Alice from Alice in Wonderland, a character who fell asleep listening to her sister reading an unnamed book with no pictures or dialogue according to Alice’s accounting. This is a nice literary piece to own and very pretty regardless of the theme you’re looking for. The girl has the appearance of those sculptures of cast bronze children and although these are heavy, these are not made of anything close to actual bronze. I believe these are made of resin and painted for effect. These are in great condition, some wear to the end of the nose on one bookend but I think it was intentional to make it look aged since it was that way when I got it. The bottoms have an anti scratch surface to avoid damaging your shelving and furniture. A beautiful set and very hard to find. Would make a lovely gift.
