- Vtg 1950s Feather Hat By Pasadena Hats- This is a modern size Small size hat/ 7 in. diameter or a size 7. This hat features feathers in a rich chartreuse shade. Condition is very good with perhaps a loose feather or two. It is structurally sound with very little wear. The interior feels like felt/wool type fabrication. This is a whimsical, artistic headpiece or fascinator-style hat crafted from vibrant chartreuse (yellow-green) feathers, mounted on a thin black headband that sits across the top of the head. The feathers are layered and curled in an organic, sculptural arrangement that sweeps upward and outward, creating volume primarily on the sides and back while leaving the front of the headband more open and the forehead area clear. From the left profile view, the feathers form a dramatic, flowing arc along the side and back of the mannequin head, with some individual feathers curling gently downward near the temple. The right three-quarter view shows the piece from a slightly more frontal angle, highlighting the dense, textured layering of the feathers and their soft, natural movement.
