shopsellow @catiecmc Hello! Yes fully latches and closes without opening, there is a little spring mechanism on the side to release the latch for it to open. I was not the original owners of this and the box does have a key front indicating there was a key at some point but I do not have that and want to make sure whomever buys knows it doesn’t permanently lock (but does close and stays closed)
