stylishsociety @mouthouse No, it doesn't smell like mildew . My mother had it stored away for a while & it picked up a scent from being tucked away in the attic. I have been keeping fabric softener sheets inside of it so the smell has faded. It wasn't intense to began with but it was something to disclose
