We are thrilled to offer the SWATCH SISTEM51 HODINKEE STOPLIGHT NEON REMIX, our sixth collaboration with Switzerland's favorite maker of fun, affordable watches, Swatch. This one is based on a clever and boldly colored 1990 Swatch, The Stoplight, and our remix features a number of firsts for the Sistem51 lineup: a semi-transparent case, crown, and strap; a cut-out dial that exposes the pointer-date disc below; and a direct "remixed" relationship to a vintage model. While some of our previous collaborations with Swatch have tended toward monochromatic colorways, for the STOPLIGHT NEON REMIX we embraced the saturated colors that have defined the spirit of Swatch since 1983, when the brand burst onto the scene and essentially democratized watch collecting, including creating watches for children when Flik Flak launched in 1987. The SWATCH SISTEM51 HODINKEE STOPLIGHT NEON REMIX is truly versatile, fun, sporty, and smart-looking. In contrast to a traditional date aperture that shows one day at a time, a pointer-date complication offers a full view of the month and one's place in it.
