- What a charming estate sale find! - This is a large woven slat wood picnic or gathering basket with 2 hinged handles - No maker's markings noted - Has a bi-colored design with blue-ish green slats opposite natural wood ones - Measures approximately 17.5" long across lid x 11.5" wide across lid x 8" base to basket lid / or 14.75" tall to top of handles - A well loved rustic vintage piece with loads of patina and character lending to its vintage charm. There are marks, stains, discolorations noted, and some areas where the woven wood has cracked or chipped. The hinges and hardware also have wear / oxidization and tarnish, as shown in the pictures. The handles and basket still feel sturdy - giving this large lovely basket plenty of life left to go!!
