Stunning mid-century modern vase designed by Bjorn Wiinblad Din Danish artist and designer. He designed Zauberflote “The Magic Flute” for Rosenthal. This item does have a very minor chip at the top as shown in last 2 photos. It is barely visible. This opera themed pattern is unique. Measures approximately 6'' tall. Zauberflöte is a masterpiece in porcelain craftsmanship the relief surfaces are not glazed but smoothed and polished after the second firing in an labor consuming elaborate procedure. The time consuming & expert craftsmanship to make this vase produce an exquisite matte finish of the relief forming a pretty contrast to the glazed surfaces.
