Roberts & Belk 1905 Silver Shaker Full Set of Marks

Art Nouveau Style Sugar Shaker / Caster / Muffineer, dated 1905, by Roberts & Belk Ltd, Sheffield, England. 5" tall, 2" diameter base. 104g / 3.5oz. Structurally sound. There are some fine scratches on close inspection. Shaker top has perforations in a starburst pattern. Body has three identical raised designs, a stylized botanical motif. Full set of marks: Hallmarks: R&B, crown, lion passant, “n”, meaning Roberts & Belk Ltd, Sheffield England, 925 silver, 1905. Design registration (patent) number, RD 361039, which dates design to 1900. Hallmarks on shaker lid; R&B, Sheffield crown, 925 Silver. On bottom of shaker: Roberts & Belk Ltd’s trademark “Aladdin’s lamp” and the number 6068, a catalog number for the style.
