💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 My son suffers daily with CF(cystic fibrosis) and He is awaiting a heart and double lung transplant. Just this year he has been admitted more times than we can count, for up to 14 days at a time. We travel 250 miles from home to see his transplant team at UAB. Because that’s what we do to give him the best care possible!! He takes many pills a day, and 17 breathing treatments a day to help maintain his health. I hope one day CF will stand for Cure Found!!!

krystalnance I’m a nurse and I work in long term care only for this very reason as a religious women we are not supposed to ask god why these things happen but a sick child just seems so senseless to me I’ll never understand why these things have to happen to our babies !!!! I’m so very sorry and I pray we find a cure for this awful illness

brandiecook @krystalnance thank you, he passed away June 2019, he was unable to get the transplant. My daughter recently had a baby, now we are waiting on the results of her CF test. Praying hard that our granddaby is okay. We knew that my daughter carried the gene, but after testing we found out her fiancé also carries the gene.
