" MEI-LIN" is her name. She was created by the artist Linda Valentino Michel for the MasterPiece Galleries. This is a beautiful doll. She is porcelain with a cloth body. She is heavy, and feels like a real baby. Linda is known for her vintage fabrics and antique notions, which she painstakingly picks out to give her dolls an old-world look. If she can't find the exact notion she is looking for, she will make it herself. Her dolls are never smiling because she wants them to fit perfectly with the romantic Victorian look. Mei-Lin has on a lined silk jacket with crocheted trim, a frog closure, notions decorating the front. The jacket is a pretty shade pale green, with a hint of teal or aqua. She also has on matching silk pantaloons, crocheted stockings, and booties with tassel trims. She has a nylon tie in her hair.
