@dolphingirlz35 I have not either. You have to either have high end designer merch or have crazy low starts like $3. A $3 sale puts my “net” in the minus category. Now I have people sending low, low, low offers because that is what they pay at many of the shows.

I do the silent shows every couple weeks to downsize some of the things in my closet. I've learned not to go to the low of bids I'm not trying to give my stuff away, but people have been really generous and I'm thankful.🙏 good tip is be honest and tried to do my best to give a great deal 👍 check it out at @Gmaslvs

I’ve watched a lot of posh shows and often found that most everyone in the room were sellers. Auctions need buyers! Posh should do something that would help people that purchase on Posh sell from their closets too so they can keep buying.

I have hosted a few posh silent shows, tried different times of day. Never a sale from doing one. Did very low starts to generate buyers only to have people low ball me after. I always try give excellent deals especially on bundles but after show I felt I just gave a few items away. I don’t know if I will do another in future or not. I just have better luck from return buyers 🌸

@kickinit201 try messaging all your previous buyers and likers through your seller tools an hour or so before the party/ that really helped me a lot just a tip. Good luck.👍

Here's a couple great tips that have helped me/not notify your previous buyers and likers through the seller tools before you have the party and it's not always about selling is getting people to notice your closet, free advertisement 👍😀😀

My small question… is why does Posh give people cash for viewing a show??? Why not for buying in a show? Also it would be awesome if customers got special Shipping rates for buying in a show too? Why doesn’t Poshmark have a $10 minimum limit on purchases as well when someone sells 1 item for $3 they only get paid .05….just a couple things on my mind. I love Poshmark!

@alycerancour - I love these suggestions. I just think it’s also getting challenging to complete against $3 Shows, so perhaps using $10 as the threshold across the platform would level the field a bit. A $10 bundle would at minimum give the Seller $7 for a single bid, and then yes, if Posh offers reduced shipping that would be an extra incentive. Great suggestions!!!!

@blondie it would be even nicer if Posh allowed sellers to discount shipping on items that weigh less than 5 ounces without taking the discount 100% out of my net. We're forced to send a disc offer-I would prefer to just lower shipping on a tube of lipgloss-I can't ask a buyer to pay $8 & lose the sale. Doesn't sound like new sellers are having much luck selling live unless they're luxury or pallet pulls. I've lowered most of my prices to cost plus 20% just to break even.

I've been approved to do shows, but nervous. Looking on here makes me think twice. Also I notice when people list shows they always mention No cancelations. So alot of people must cancel.

@roxie5096 I feel like since lives my regular posts have dropped dramatically, and I have yet to go and try a live show, kinda nervous having viewers tune in & watch me, it’s all very nerve wracking because I believe I have a very nice, posh compliant & competitive prices on most of my NWT items, I won’t make anything putting them out there on those lives for $3 starts!

I will not be selling anything at $3 that's crazy. my posts sell by themselves I only get on live when my husband's playing games and I have nothing to do. it needs some revamping! 💕

SILENT HOST BEWARE.Silent shows don't have the camera off. I've had viewers tell me what I'm doing to confirm during SILENT SHOWS. I REACHED ABOUT TO SUPPORT AND THERE IS NOTHING being done as of yet. Its not a one time thing either. Apparently many hosts have been made aware by their viewers. If you do not wish to be seen during silent shows, cover the camera with tape. I have stopped shows for the lack of privacy in silents.
