The vibrant Memphis Group in Milan was active in the 1980's, and was founded by designer Ettore Sottsass as a playful revolt to the serious modern mid-century designs. This pair of Milano Series postmodern green marble based acrylic tiered candlesticks from 1980 are a stylish and unique addition to any room. The candle holders feature a round shape measuring 9 " tall & 3" in diameter. Made of green marble colored metal base and lucite double tiered top, they are inspired by Memphis style geometric shapes. These elegant candle holders are perfect for all occasions and are a representation of 1980s artistry and design. Made in Italy, they add a touch of postmodern flair to your space. There is some wear on the lucite top but otherwise in excellent pre-owned vintage condition.
