Oleg Cassini Silk Column Gown

We chose to make the back view of this vintage Oleg Cassini silk gown our cover shot because the drama is all in those back bows! Gown was purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue and carefully stored after being drycleaned at The French Hand Laundry and Dry Cleaning in Pasadena, CA. Dress is one piece, despite the illusion that this is a fitted bodice over a column skirt. Fitted boned bodice has 1.5-inch wide shoulder straps that measure 9 inches long but could be made up to 1/2 inch longer. Bust measures 16.5 inches across side seam to side seam, with darting that accommodates up to approximately a D cup size. Waist measures 13.5 inches across, hips about 18.5-19 inches across, depending on the wearer's height. Gown measures 54 inches long from shoulder to bottom hem. There are seam allowances in the bodice so the seams could be let out slightly. This is an exquisite gown in excellent condition by one of Jackie Kennedy's favorite designers. 5MCN
