Old Vintage Wood Springerle Cookie Roller Pineapple Made in US Zone Germany. Excellent vintage condition. Two very tiny marks between roller and handle, look like very small knife points. One very small crack on edge of roller from the middle of the pinapple mold to the edge of roller, ends before serrated edge does not look like it extends down the edge of roller. One very small chip/ding at end of handle where it holds the roller. See close up pictures with areas marked. Tool is 9 1/4" long x 2 3/8" wide, roller approximately 2" in diameter. Weight 5oz. Worth Point and other sites say that things marked “Germany US Zone” means the piece was made at the end of World War II between 1945 and 1949, when the marks changed to read “Made in West Germany,” “W.Germany,” or “Western Germany.
