sharonhosford99 So true...everyone knows about these fees so i agree with you regarding lowball offers. I Know Myself many of my items are so low as it is just to get rid of them and then people want a shipping discount we pay that also thank you for spreading the word about this it's so important! At the end of the day we're trying to make a little bit of money and spend a lot of time on here most of us anyway! Thanks for Spreading the News

I recently saw a Posher post in her closet that all items under $10 will not receive any discounts including a shipper discount unless bundled. 🙂 I congratulated her on that!👍🏽I tell people in bundles that if its just 2-3 items I offer 10%. More items equals a higher discount. I never offer more than 30%. If they shoot 40% or more from the door it’s an automatic decline. I don’t entertain nonsense.🙅🏽‍♀️

chapell217 @sharonhosford99 I’m not here to have a yard sale. This is another source of extra funds for my household. My daughter will be a senior next year in HS so then off to college. Poshmark sales go to her college money. I’d rather hold onto an item for months before I give into a low baller.🙃🥴

sharonhosford99 @chapell217 yes i agree sweetie I don't currently work I take care of my elderly sick mom so I totally can relate to you I just agreed with your posting because I've gotten some really low ball offers myself I just don't think people understand the fees that we pay and that some of us do this to make a living I know I do I'm happy that you posted that maybe people will realize

Personally I really don't like Poshmark policy where they charge 295 4 under $15 I really don't think that's a good policy at all that's the only thing that puts a bad taste in my mouth about Poshmark

chapell217 @sharonhosford99 Yes the fees😬The only thing that sold me was they took care of the shipping label😂I used to sell on eBay for years & it was a nightmare doing it all on your own🥴Then the returns are outrageous as well. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Now what I really dislike is the new tax rule where if your state charges tax where you live they make you pay your state shopping tax fee on final sales!🤬

beekay82 I swear i was just going to make a post relative to this. Would it be ok to use your fee chart pic?... I think people forget that we are fee'd to death and any shipping discount comes out of my pocket. As u mentioned, I'd rather hold onto it, donate it, or give it away to one of my friends teenagers, then sell it for pennies. Everything i sell is next to new or new! I had a lady offer me less than half of my listing price one day😒🙄😡😂😂 byyeeee lady👋🏽

nicoledelz Totally agree 💯 I wish people would understand that us as sellers, who are trying to do this as a business, already markdown our items. And most of us offer a discount on bundles of 2+ items so the item is marked down even more! Someone sent me an offer today on 2 items ($146 actual price total for both items, marked down to around $123 total), the offer was for $75🤯😠 There was already a 10% discount added for the bundle so she would have gotten an item for free. I’m sorry but no!
