OUTSTANDING VINTAGE RED & BLACK LACQUERED CINNABAR VASE HAND CARVED FLOWER MOTIFS ON ENAMEL AND BRASS Decorated with a finely carved red lacquer floral motif, showing details in craftsmanship, against a black back ground on brass, it shows normal wear for age and material including dust, dirt and cracking. This is a vintage genuine cinnabar lacquer vase from an estate sale. I got a positive result for red cinnabar lacquer, using the swab test shown in pic #9. Measures 5" inches in height.
