shastenr I do. If mine doesn't say anything, I'll randomly go "thanks, honey". He asks for what and I tell him for the compliment I'm sure he was about to give. It's not subtle, but it reminds him that I need to hear it from time to time

dilsarv @katie_comfort @shastenr ok I just have to chime in..first of all you look gorgeous in that dress!!!!! Second husbands can be dumb asses. (Or in my case live in bf, father of my daughter). I never get a compliment but instead a comment on how I can improve!!!! This is coming from a perfectly perfect appearing man (eyes rolling while I say that) or so he thinks. When I asked him just last night "how do you know if someone loves you?" His reply was..."I am here for you every day". I said "where else will you go!?!?" Him: "Well if I didn't (love you) I'd kick you out". Me: " no you wouldn't. Because of our baby". Then for the rest of the night he tried "showing love". 😒it was rather pathetic. This is coming from a highly intelligent, educated, successful man. So they are all DUMB ASSES! Haha
